Events Harrogate, the new events bureau for the Harrogate district, celebrated its launch in March this year by attending International Confex 2022. International Confex is one of the leading exhibitions for the events industry, bringing together the largest gathering of event professionals in the UK looking to plan their next event. This provided the ideal platform for the Events Harrogate team to introduce Harrogate and the wider district as the perfect event destination. The two-day conference saw the team network with event organisers and businesses to ensure Harrogate was front of mind as an attractive destination for their conferences and business events.
The stand, which was branded as Events Harrogate hosted a number of partners, each showcasing the benefits of hosting an event in the area, from event space to accommodation to corporate hospitality. Partners included: Harrogate Convention Centre, Yorkshire Event Centre and Pavilions of Harrogate, Bettys, Cedar Court Hotel and The Crowne Plaza. The team would like to thank all partners who joined them on the stand and also those that contributed to the printed venue guide which was distributed at the event. The feedback from both partners and delegates was really positive during the show, with partners able to generate some promising leads, proving that Harrogate district is perfectly positioned as a destination for great events.
Alongside the presence at International Confex, there is now also a brand new Events Harrogate website, where event organisers can use the venue finding tool to choose the perfect venue for their event, as well as a printed brochure that offers a snapshot of the venues on offer across the district.

Events Harrogate is set to exhibit at the Conference & Hospitality Show (CHS) in May and The Meetings Show in June.
